Inakunaru

Hey everyone! This is my first journal entry and although not many people will read this, I still want to document my efforts and story as an artist here.

I started painting about a month ago. I was always afraid to paint and always stuck to more "traditional" ways of creating such as pencils, paper and my imagination. I never tried to mix medias and let my creative mind explore new techniques and mixing stuff together.  My father is a great painter, but I had a hard time understanding how to technically paint...like starting from the background to the front was just hard for my brain to process haha.

With all that, I was just amazed by watercolor paintings that I have seen here on DA and in the art world. Everywhere I looked, there were so many beautiful things made with watercolors that I just decided to give it a try and fell in love with it. Now, I am so motivated that I decided to find myself a part-time job in an art store (like Michael's, but a Quebec version of it haha!) so that I can surround myself with the beauty of art and find balance in my life. I am a science student, so art becomes a great escape for me and permits me to explore corners of my mind that I never went to.

I hope that you will enjoy looking at my work. I am very thankful that there is a platform like this one that gives a chance to artists who want to learn and get better at what they do.
